FOCUS / RESPONSIBILITY
Kris' primary focus at InSite involves industrial and office investment activities. His experience in identifying opportunities and structuring creative capitalization scenarios has significantly contributed to the company's acquisition, development and investment brokerage initiatives. Kris also serves an asset management role for several company-owned portfolios.

EXPERIENCE
With over 19 years of experience, Kris Van Norman understands that credibility is based on hard work, dedication, and knowledge. As part of the company's investment and management areas, he attends to the detailed aspects of investment and ownership perspectives with sound judgment and confidence.

Since 1993, Kris has managed investment transactions totaling over twenty million square feet of investment property valued in excess of $500 million. Investment partners and clients include Institutional, corporate and private entities such as Carval Financial Services, Eastgroup Properties, TA Associates Realty and Western General Holdings.

EDUCATION / DESIGNATIONS
Before receiving his Masters of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University in 1984, Kris graduated from the University of Nebraska in 1983, where he was an Academic All-American defensive back for the Nebraska football team. Kris began his real estate career with Trammell Crow Company in Austin, Texas, in 1984, before transferring to Minneapolis, Minnesota, in 1989 and then to Houston in 1990. During his 10 years at Trammell Crow, Kris' responsibilities included marketing and project development of industrial and office facilities, major customer relationship management, build-to-suit development and managing the industrial investment group within the company. He received productivity distinction within Trammell Crow Company by earning a national leasing award while in Austin.
